Cub Campers, one of Australia’s longest serving builders of camper trailers, has struck a deal with the Track Trailer operated camper trailer dealer, OUTBACK HQ, to be the official Victorian dealer of Cub Campers.
In a statment, Cub Campers has said, “OUTBACK HQ has invested significantly in creating and setting it up as a ‘one stop shop,’ offering not only a comprehensive range of campers, but also supporting owners with service, spare parts and accessories. Since its start up OBHQ has integrated the sale of several well regarded brands starting with Track Trailer, James Baroud, ARB, Hema, Hayman Reece and now CUB Campers!”
Lloyd Waldron, Track Trailer and Outback HQ’s Marketing Manager said “OBHQ strategy has been to have a complete offering for serious outback travellers and is very proud to add Cub, another “all Australian” brand to its portfolio. Cub is celebrating 50 years in business, is still 100% Australian owned and manufactures in Sydney. Its products are of high quality, exhibit innovative features and are competitive in the market, while offering a complementary range to Track Trailers that have been the foundation of our offering.”
Cub Campers CEO, Simon McMillan, said, “With the amount of growth Cub has had in 2018, partnering with a new dealer in Victoria was essential in order to meet the volume and service demand within the state. Outback HQ was an obvious choice for us due to our shared values of providing quality, Australian-made products to the camping market.”
McMillan went on to say, “After 50 years in business, we’ve built a reputation with our customers whereby we are known not only for the high quality of our camper trailers, but also for our exceptional after-sales service. Our positive relationship with Track Trailer and OBHQ in the past allowed us to choose a partner that we were confident would uphold the high standards that our customers have come to expect from us in this regard.”
As a result of the new dealer, Cub has closed its company owned dealership in Campbellfield, although The Melbourne Camper Trailer Centre in Pakenham is still on board.
